Academic Blueprint

Mentorship Practicum Curriculum & Syllabus

An in-depth, structured 8-week technical curriculum designed to instill institutional-grade chart reading and structural discipline.

Structured Progression for Objective Market Reading

Unlike unorganized video libraries or disjointed webinars, the Core Trail Hub curriculum is engineered sequentially. Each week introduces one foundational structural concept, validates it through historical chart mapping drills, and tests it in live market condition clinics.

By Week 8, you will possess a complete, repeatable technical playbook with zero ambiguity about anchor points, structural shifts, or trade invalidation.

Program Structure at a Glance

  • Total Duration: 8 Intensive Weeks
  • Live Contact: 16 Sessions (2 x 90-min live clinics weekly)
  • Personal Feedback: 8 One-on-One Video Chart Markups
  • Diagnostic Call: 1 Private 45-min Milestone Review
  • Cohort Limit: 12 Participants Maximum

Week-by-Week Syllabus Breakdown

Week 1

Clean Chart Architecture & Market Regimes

Stripping away lagging indicators, establishing high-contrast chart layouts, and identifying macro expansion vs. range-bound consolidation phases across Daily and 4-Hour charts.

Week 2

The 3-Point Mechanical Trendline Anchor Rule

Defining origin swing pivots, secondary structural reactions, and the third confirmation touch point. Rejecting arbitrary ray lines drawn through candle bodies.

Week 3

Ascending & Descending Channels & Parallel Corridors

Constructing parallel trend channels, identifying midline reaction zones, and measuring slope exhaustion patterns before breakout momentum occurs.

Week 4

Swing Pivot Hierarchies & Fractal Market Degrees

Distinguishing major macro swings from intermediate pullback swings. Mapping structural order flow without getting disoriented by minor lower-timeframe noise.

Week 5

Break of Structure (BOS) vs. Liquidity Wick Sweeps

Analyzing candle closure dynamics beyond prior swing highs and lows. Recognizing false breakouts designed to trap breakout participants.

Week 6

Change of Character (CHoCH) & Multi-Timeframe Alignment

Detecting the initial structural shift that signals an impending trend reversal. Bridging the gap between 4-Hour trendlines and 15-Minute execution triggers.

Week 7

Structural Invalidation & Risk-to-Reward Profiling

Establishing objective stop-loss placement beyond confirmed structural invalidation levels. Calculating risk parameters strictly based on market geometry.

Week 8

Live Chart Audits, Journaling & Final Practicum

Real-time market mapping simulations, comprehensive student chart markup audits, and establishing a lifelong technical journaling framework.

Technical Prerequisites

  • Active charting software account (e.g., TradingView or desktop charting suite)
  • Familiarity with basic Japanese candlestick anatomy (open, high, low, close)
  • Dedication of 4-6 hours per week for live interactive clinics and chart markup homework submissions
  • Commitment to objective rule-based analysis and openness to constructive technical critique

Weekly Homework & Audit Process

Every Friday following the weekly live sessions, you receive a chart markup assignment covering 5 to 10 specific asset charts. You will identify origin pivots, apply 3-point trendline confirmation rules, and determine structural invalidation levels.

Daniel Foster personally records a video audit of your submissions before the subsequent Tuesday session, highlighting anchor misalignments or timeframe conflicts.
